Dangling Particle Response

Dangling Particles by Lisa Randall is a very interesting look at the science community. She points out in the article that science in many cases is can be misleading to the general public. For instance the names of many of sciences most prominent theories can be confusing because of the name of the theories. Take for instance the "field theory" which has absolutely nothing to do with a large plot of grass. These names give you the impression that they have something to do with a topic completely irrelevant to what it really is. She then goes on to talk about how the scientific community and the public both are making it hard for scientific breakthroughs to be understood and accepted. The scientist need to be more clear with their explanations of what is going on on our planet and the public needs to be more patient and open to the truth and trust the scietists more or nothing will be done.
